The Best Commercial Blenders for Cafes, Juice Bars and Restaurants in Australia (2026 Guide)

The best commercial blender Australia has to offer is the one built for your busiest job: a sound-enclosed blender such as the Vitamix The Quiet One or Blendtec Stealth 885 for counter smoothies and frappes, a food-prep blender such as the Vitamix Vita-Prep 3 for kitchen prep, and a stick blender for big pots of soup. Then compare the motor, the jars, the programs and, above all, a genuine commercial warranty.

We are a family-run business with over 30 years in the blending industry. This guide sorts the commercial blenders we sell by the job they do, with every specification taken from the product page. Click any model to see today's price.

Smoothies and frappes all day: choose a sound enclosure

A smoothie bar blender runs all day in front of customers, so noise matters as much as power (see Quiet Blenders for Cafes and Juice Bars). Here are the sound-enclosed models worth comparing, and you can browse more in our quiet blenders range.

Vitamix The Quiet One

Ideal for front-of-house use, The Quiet One has a magnetically secured sound enclosure that is easy to remove and clean, and its listing describes it as up to four times quieter than any other commercial blender. It holds 34 optimised programs on six buttons, and automatic shut-off lets staff start a blend and walk away.

Blendtec Stealth 885 and Connoisseur 825

Both have a 3.8 peak HP, 1800 W motor and 42 pre-programmed cycles, and ship with an Ultra Jar (or two, with the two-jar option). The Stealth 885 has a 360-degree sealed sound enclosure, an interlock that stops blending when the enclosure is opened, and USB custom programming. The Connoisseur 825 has a sound enclosure and can go in-counter by removing its lower case. Short on bench space? The Connoisseur 825 Space Saver is 159 mm wide and ships with two FourSide jars, but its listing does not include a sound enclosure.

Hamilton Beach Eclipse and Summit Edge

The Eclipse pairs QuietBlend technology and a Quiet Shield with a 3 peak HP motor, 100 pre-programmed cycles and a 2 L jar, in or on the counter. The Summit Edge has a 3.5 peak HP motor, a Quiet Shield sound enclosure, a stackable 1.4 L container and Auto Blend, which stops when the drink reaches the right consistency. Both list a 3-year parts and labour warranty.

Apuro, Waring and Santos

The Apuro Bar Blender with Sound Enclosure keeps it simple: a 1.68 kW motor, variable speed, a metal clutch and a 2.5 L jug, and its digital sibling swaps in a digital control panel with a 30, 60 and 90 second timer. The Waring MX1500XTX includes its sound enclosure, four reprogrammable beverage stations and a drink counter. The French-made Santos Brushless Blender 62 has 30 pre-programmed recipes, a removable sound enclosure and a five-year motor warranty.

Bars and cocktails: simple controls, tough jars

Behind a bar you want quick controls and a jar that copes with ice all night. Browse our commercial bar blenders, or start with these:

  • Blendtec BAR Blender: start, stop and pulse on one switch beside a variable speed dial, for cocktails, smoothies and iced coffee.
  • Hamilton Beach Fury: a 3 HP motor with an all-metal drive coupling, two speeds plus pulse, a timer and a stackable 1.8 L container.
  • Vitamix Drink Machine Two-Speed: just two switches and a 1.4 L container. Its page lists it as entry level, for places where noise is not a consideration.
  • Waring MX1100XTX: a 3.5 peak HP motor, high, low and pulse, a 30-second countdown timer and a dishwasher-safe 2 L Raptor jar.

Need it quieter later? The Waring WSE1000 enclosure fits Waring MX series blenders with up to a 2 L jar (a special order, so no cancellations or returns). The Hamilton Beach Quiet Shield, made for Tempest blenders, can also be used with other brands: it fits a blender up to 55 cm tall and is 25 cm wide and deep.

Food prep, soups and sauces

Back-of-house blending means thick, hot and heavy mixes, so look for variable speed, a tamper and a lid plug for adding ingredients. Making acai bowls? See our acai blender guide.

  • Vitamix Vita-Prep 3: variable speed from 1,000 to 24,000 RPM, a cooling fan for peak hours, a 2 L container and a tamper for thick and frozen mixes.
  • Vitamix XL: a 4.2 peak HP motor and a 5.6 L container for hot and cold ingredients, ideal for large-volume blending.
  • Blendtec CHEF Blender: 1800 W, with an Ultra XL jar (about 3.25 L total capacity) and a tamper, for everything from dry spices to soups.
  • Hamilton Beach Expeditor: a 3.5 HP motor, a 4 L stainless steel container, a CHOP function and custom program buttons.
  • Robot Coupe BL 3 and BL 5: French-made, with 3 L and 5 L stainless steel bowls for soups, sauces and purées, and removable, dishwasher-safe food-contact parts.

Commercial blender buying guide: what to look for

Motor and daily volume

Many listings quote peak horsepower, and the Blendtec BAR and CHEF listings note that their figure is peak input power measured in laboratory testing, not the horsepower at the blade. Use power to shortlist, then check the recommended daily volume on each listing: 200+ blends for the Stealth 885, 150+ for the Connoisseur 825 and 75+ drinks for the Waring MX1500XTX.

Jar size, spare jars and allergens

A second jar keeps orders moving while one is washed, and Blendtec's coloured WildSide+ jars help staff avoid allergen cross-contamination. Spare jars must suit your base: the Vitamix 1.4 L Advance container suits The Quiet One and Drink Machine Advance, the Vitamix 2 L wet blade container suits the Vita-Prep 3, the WildSide Ultra Jar fits all Blendtec blenders and the Apuro 2.5 L jug fits the DR825-A, CY141-A, CY140-A and CR836-A bar blenders. Some jug pages say jugs cannot be returned, so check your model number first, or browse jugs and jars.

Programs and controls

Programs make the same drink whoever is on shift. The Vitamix Drink Machine Advance comes pre-programmed with the six drinks most commonly blended in coffee and smoothie shops, and the Connoisseur 825's cycles each shut off automatically, freeing staff for other tasks.

A commercial warranty, not a household one

Check the warranty wording before a household blender goes to work in a business. The pages for the Vitamix Ascent A2300i and Blendtec Professional 800 both say the warranty is for household use only and void if used commercially. Commercial models list their own cover, such as 36 months parts and 12 months labour on our Vitamix commercial blenders. There is more in the difference between commercial and regular blenders.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best commercial blender for a cafe?

For smoothies and frappes made in front of customers, choose a sound-enclosed blender such as the Vitamix The Quiet One, Blendtec Stealth 885 or Hamilton Beach Summit Edge. For soups and sauces, add a food-prep blender such as the Blendtec CHEF, or a stick blender.

Can I use a household blender in my cafe?

You can, but you may lose the warranty: our pages for household models such as the Vitamix Ascent Series and Blendtec Professional 800 say the warranty is void if used commercially. A commercial blender for cafe use is made and warranted for business.

How many jars does a busy cafe need?

Plan on at least two per blender, so one can be washed while the other works; the Connoisseur 825 Space Saver ships with two jars. Keep separate, clearly marked jars if you need to keep allergens apart.

Do Blendtec commercial blenders come with a jar?

It depends on the model, so check the listing. The Stealth 885 and Connoisseur 825 ship with an Ultra Jar and the BAR Blender with a WildSide+ jar, while the Stealth 895NBS Nitro 2.0 is sold as a motor base with its sound enclosure, and jars are bought separately.

What size stick blender do I need?

Match it to your largest pot. The Hamilton Beach 9-inch model suits up to 11 L, the BigRig 16-inch up to 87 L and the BigRig 21-inch up to 198 L, while the Robot Coupe MP 450 Ultra lists up to 100 L.
