A commercial milkshake maker, also called a milkshake mixer, drink mixer or milkshake machine, uses a fast-spinning spindle to mix milk, ice cream and syrup in the same cup the shake is served from. Unlike a milkshake blender with a jug and blades, a spindle mixer whips air into the drink rather than chopping it, which suits milkshakes, thick shakes and malts.
This range covers single and triple spindle machines. The Roband Milkshake Mixer DM31 has a two-speed motor and takes standard 710ml cups. The Apuro Milkshake Mixer CT938-A has two speed modes and comes with a 750ml stainless steel malt cup. From Hamilton Beach, the single spindle HMD0200 and the triple spindle HMD0400 have three speed settings and start when the cup is placed in position, so staff can work hands-free. The HMD0400 is made for high-volume service in busy cafes, milk bars and takeaway shops.
