Here at Blenders Online we've put together a super yummo and nourishing Pre Work Out smoothie to fuel you up and give you energy to strive for those PB's. 

The Perfect pre - workout smoothie
Makes - 750mls 
Serves - 1 person

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup nut milk of choice
  • 1 banana (peeled)
  • 1 cup greens
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 2 medjool dates (pitted and soaked) 
  • Bee pollen
  • Maca powder
  • Ice to help thicken and cool you down

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients to your blender in the order listed above. 
  2. Blend on HIGH until smooth
  3. Use your tamper if needed
  4. Serve straight away

We love the chosen ingredients for the following reasons: 

Banana for those essential B Vitamins. Greens for the magnesium levels. Mint Leaves and Pitted Dates for extra vitamins and minerals. Bee Pollen for an extra hit of protein. Nut milk to give you a nourishing hit of amino acids. Maca powder for energy support and immunity. 

You can always sub out the nut milk and replace it with Coconut Milk and if you have an issue with Bee Pollen, add in a little of your favourite protein powder or greens powder!
