Fruity Chai Smoothie

Delicious. Easy and Decadent! What more do you want from a smoothie? This is the perfect recipe to snuggle up with on the couch and enjoy those chilly winters nights in your PJ's. Cheers everyone! 

Fruity Chai Smoothie 

Makes - 500mls
Serves - 2 people 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cashew milk or coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/4 cup medjool dates, pitted 
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste 
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated ginger 
  • 1 x tiny pinch of nutmeg 
  • 1 x tiny pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 x tiny punch of ground cloves 
  • 1 x pinch of sea salt 
  • 2 bananas, peeled 
  • 1 cup Ice (if you wanted to drink this cold) 
  • 1 scoop of your favourite vanilla protein power 

Optional Additions 

  • Hemp Seeds 
  • Chia Seeds 
  • Probiotic Powder 

Instructions

  1. Throw all ingredients into your blender in the order listed above. 
  2. Secure the lid and have your tamper ready if needed. 
  3. Blend on High speed until desired temperature
